Q. I would like you to share something about yourself with our readers.

Well, I am just an eighteen-year-old boy from a small town in Kashmir. Since my early childhood I have loved and adored books. And books are really beautiful, they teach us a lot about the world and manifold aspects of life.

I’m also a Science lover and I do believe that Science is the cornerstone of a civilisation. I’m looking forward to be an Aerospace Engineer or a Physicist. And I also hope to add some good books to the world of fiction.

Q. How did you come up with the idea of writing this genre?

I have always been interested in writing fiction. Because fiction is all about imagination, and I love to imagine.

Q. Where did you find the inspiration to write this book?

Well, going through the books of Asimov, Kafka, Joyce and Philip k dick. There was this feeling in my heart that I must write a book.

Q. What exactly does your book convey?

World fallen apart coveys a profound insight of Universal themes like fatality, fate, love and pursuit of a dream. As a teenager from Kashmir, I found that there aren’t many books about Kashmir and its people. So, I decided to write a book about a Kashmiri, who has a dream to be an astronaut. But the protagonist has to undergo a lot of challenges and trails before he could realise his dream.

Q. What all was going in your head while penning down this book?

A lot of things were going on in my head. Like, Am I ever going to complete this book? What are the Kashmiris going to think about my book? Is it going to be a bestseller or not? And a lot of other things. There’s a long list of them.

Q. How much time you used to commit to this book?

I wouldn’t write on a daily basis but I would write for about four days a week. And it continued for four months.

Q. Was there any moment you backed off from the idea of writing a book?

Yeah, a lot of times. Even sometimes I felt like it was a wastage of time. But there was this voice inside me whispering every now and then “you can do it, you can add a book to the colossal world of books.’’

Q. How do you handle the criticism that comes towards your way?

Well, I believe criticism just makes you stronger. It just acts as a fuel that ignites the embers inside you.

Q. How was your experience with Bluerose throughout the publishing of the book?

Answer: Publishing with bluerose has been a great experience. I would like to thank Miss Priti Goswami, my publication manager who assisted me throughout the journey of this book. I must say that Bluerose publishing company is the best self-publishing company in India.

Q. How would you like to advice budding authors?

The only advice I would like to give to the budding authors is,

“Sit down at your typewriter and bleed.’’
