Q. I would like you to share something about yourself with our readers.

I have spent nearly three decades in the corporate business world and I am currently working as a senior executive in the hospitality industry managing a group of hotels.  With direct experience in many different aspects of business, including sales, marketing, revenue management, and administration. Having worked in Germany, the United States, Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, my global experiences have encouraged me to formulate my thoughts into written documents in business, management, history that I see may be beneficial to the younger generation.  Eager to bring enhanced cross-cultural awareness to today’s business leaders.

Q. How did you come up with the idea of writing this genre?

Although I am an avid reader of fiction, I much prefer to prepare books of the non-fiction genre. My first two books were influenced by my academic and operational background. Whilst my third title was based on my admiration of the top leaders who have influenced the world we live in.

Q. Where did you find the inspiration to write this book?

When pondering on the various aspects of life it is evident that many fields have been shaped and molded by the great pioneers who had a keen interest to discover something new about the world we live in. These achievements helped the new generation to enjoy and experience their legacy. In this book, I wanted to highlight these achievements and inspire the coming generation.

Q. What exactly does your book convey?

The deep admiration of the historical legends and masterminds of the various life aspects and how they have helped us grow better understanding of the world we live in was the core drive for drafting the idea of this book. In these Legends, we’ve seen inexplicable abilities that helped us define our existence and human life. Their names are engraved in the sands of time for their work in the welfare of mankind with different inventions that have made our lives easy, enjoyable and successful. The following chapters commemorate the greatest personalities we’ve ever seen who changed the world.

Q. What all was going in your head while penning down this book?

I felt that sometimes I was spending too much time on one ‘Legend’ which was inhibiting me from moving on to the next. This was mainly due to my interest in the personality and their life story. To overcome this, I set a chapter structure for each person mentioned in the book.

Q. How much time you used to commit to this book?

Once the idea has been selected and identified I have got a few reliable resources that can help me with my research and assist me to draw a complete and accurate image of the subject I need to tackle. From idea to manuscript submission it took around 5 – 6 months.

Q. Was there any moment you backed off from the idea of writing a book?

No not at all. When I write I feel that I am able to share my passion for certain subjects and as it flows onto the paper, I am satisfied with the feeling that I can share this knowledge with my readers.

Q. How do you handle the criticism that comes towards your way?

With the understanding that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and taste in genre or style of writing. A single title cannot cater to the taste of every potential reader.

Q. How was your experience with Bluerose throughout the publishing of the book?

Blue Rose allows the client to communicate freely and directly which helps overcome obstacles that might usually take a lot longer to resolve.

  1. How would you like to advice budding authors?

If writing a non-fiction book, do focus on one or two fields and develop them via intensive research. This will enable you to identify new ideas and new topics that you can write about.
