Q. Where did you find the inspiration to write this book?

I had authored 5 books in the past. But I felt I was not able to reach my readers . As I observed in the Preface, “The urge to express my innermost feelings, unfulfilled desires, deep impressions and views through poems, came to me as I pondered and reminisced about the purpose of our lives; people, events and places that I came across. People do not have the patience to go through long didactic essays. Poems, short and pithy, serve the same purpose. “ There is a poem entitled ,”Why I write “, which expresses it in verse.

I write so that others may know

Of  what I strongly think and feel.

Most of all I want to tell,

What I felt so special?

I choose my words thoughtfully.

So that it has same the effect,

Which I experienced.

Of love that is overpowering,

Of loss that I cannot get over,

Of life’s ups and downs,

And changing moods.
