Q. I would like you to share something about yourself with our readers.

My primary education was done from Raebareli(U.P), then I went for bachelors of computer science from Jaipur, Rajasthan. In third year of college something happened that I started questioning myself, hating myself, but then one night paper, pen and music gave me shelter for my emotions and unspoken words. Then I moved Pune for a job in MNC, This was the period where I started healing and started writing my first book “Dhoomil”. Then I moved to Banglore ,where most of my poems are written.

Q. How did you come up with the idea of writing poetry?

I am not sure about genre of book , it has a lot of emotions in poetic format, there was no single idea behind my book , I just started writing.

Q. Where did you find the inspiration to write Dhoomil?

Earlier it  was never a plan to write a book, I just started writing my poems in a diary, and then every empty page became my inspiration

Q. What exactly does your book convey?

Dhoomil is a collection of poems on the emotions one feels in the society’s race against time. This is my first attempt at sharing my views on human desire and man’s pursuit of happiness. The poems talk about the journey of a lonely man through the labyrinth of life. In this odyssey a man experiences various emotions like love, fear, insecurities, anxiety, love, friendship but his desire for happiness is immortal. One thing I learnt is that “You have to fit yourself in your definition of Love then love yourself “

Q. What all was going in your head while penning down this book?

As I already told there is always something going on my mind so only thing was in my head was words, song’ lyrics and , poems rhymes.

Q. Was there any moment you backed off from the idea of writing a book?

I never decided to write a book so there in no question of backing off.

Q. How do you handle the criticism that comes towards your way?

I just don’t care about that, I write to keep myself happy

Q. How was your experience with Bluerose throughout the publishing of the book?

It’s a really good and creative team and helped me with the whole process. Thanks for that.
