Q. I would like you to share something about yourself with our readers.
I am an artist, columnist, academician and an author. Have a post grad in English literature and a PhD. in the same. To cut the long story short during my PhD. days I realized that I loved writing and gave it full-throated wings. I am a fitness enthusiast and an experimental Chef in my own kitchen. A hands-on person, try crafting my everyday activities creative or normal around the anvils of care, precision, and perfection. I value the time spent with my home, family, and friends. Writing gives me the center and gets my adrenaline rushing to the other areas of my life too. During my travels, I love to soak in the culture of the new place, sketch pictures, write poetry under a tree, go boating, interact with the locals and reflect on life amongst other things.
Q. How did you come up with the idea of writing this genre?
I never thought of a particular genre while starting to write my books. In fact, I did not know that the books are categorized in different genre and the author has to think about it beforehand. They just happened.
Q. Where did you find the inspiration to write this book?
My passion for writing was my inspiration!
Q. What exactly does your book convey?
My book conveys that there is a ‘silver lining to every dark cloud’. It also inspires people to move out of their comfort zone, try and make life a success! To dream big!
Q. What was all going in your head while penning down this book?
While penning the book I was in a tearing hurry to finish it. Secondly, the thought that kept coming was: “Is it better than the first?”
Q. How much time did you commit to this book?
Sometimes 10. On the whole 5 hours on an average.
Q. Was there any moment you backed off from the idea of writing a book?
Q. How do you handle the criticism that comes towards your way?
With a pinch of salt! I feel that somewhere the people are affected and that is good enough!
Q. How was your experience with Lead-start throughout the publishing of the book?
Excellent! I was walked through every step of my journey very nicely. It was very smooth!
Q. How would you like to advice budding authors?
A lot of people are into a lot of creative fields without their knowledge. They should first identify their talent for writing. Proceeding blindly on a path can lead to disappointments later.
